Custom Cleanups Launches 2nd Location, Continues Supporting Cancer Patients

Jacky Costello is the founder and owner of Custom Cleanups, LLC, a residential cleaning company serving the greater Tampa Bay area in Florida. She just launched her second location in the West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia tri-state area. In 2016, Costello partnered her company with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason to donate free house cleaning to local cancer patients. As a cancer survivor herself, she is eager to pay it forward to cancer patients in the tri-state area.

“As a cancer survivor, I understand firsthand what it feels like to endure treatments and what a gift helping hands can be,” said Costello. “That is why we contribute our time and services as a partner with Cleaning for a Reason and why I am committed to helping as many cancer patients as I can with each of our locations. A clean, sanitized home is a safe, healthy environment, allowing cancer patients to focus on healing and family. Cancer can be quite isolating and we hope to help these patients and families feel connected and supported during this difficult time.”

Since first partnering with Cleaning for a Reason in 2016, Custom Cleanups has donated services to 68 cancer patients with total cleanings valued at $19,500. With their second location, Custom Cleanups will clean at least four local cancer patients’ homes each month for two consecutive months free of charge. This will be an ongoing service to patients residing in the West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia tri-state area.
